Fires of Yavimaya has always been a favorite card of mine. Naturally, I wanted to fit it into this format, where I can get away with playing pet cards. Here's a rough list I cobbled together.
Creatures x 1 Flametongue Kavu x 4 Imperiosaur x 4 Blastoderm x 4 Arbor Elf x 4 Kird Ape x 4 Wild Nacatl x 4 Sakura-Tribe Scout x 4 Horned Kavu x 4 Fire Imp
Spells x 4 Fires of Yavimaya x 4 Arc Lightning
Lands x 4 Terramorphic Expanse x 4 Evolving Wilds x 1 Plains x 7 Forest x 6 Mountain
Some thoughts:
Imperiosaur was a constraint in design, which is why I went with Sakura-Tribe Scout and Arbor Elf over more common mana elves. I think a 5/5 for 2GG is good enough to work around though.
Horned Kavu gives good value on Blastoderm, Flametongue Kavu, and Fire Imps.
Some other things I considered were the Jund and Naya Hack/Hushblades from Conflux or whatever. They didn't end up making the cut, but could be worth consideration in revisions.

As Barry noted, Fire Imp is uncommon, so that's going to have to be cut. If this deck is something you're interested in, I might suggest:
Gathan Raiders Keldon Marauders Staggershock
I think those all have a degree of value to them, and excel at what they do. Staggershock can be as good as Char in some instances, Marauders will gobble down blockers while shocking your opponent, and the Raiders will be a very, very fast 5/5 for 3.
